JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Corner Lot Development confirms it is in the early stages of evaluating a potential mixed-use development opportunity at the Ford on Bay site in Downtown Jacksonville.
The proposed concept, submitted in response to the Downtown Investment Authority’s disposition process, reflects a broader vision to support both economic and workforce development in the urban core. The site—located along the Downtown Northbank—has long been viewed as a strategic location for catalytic investment and long-term growth.
In addition to its economic and workforce development potential, the vision for the site is to create a vibrant, mixed-use destination that attracts visitors from across the Southeast while enhancing Downtown Jacksonville’s appeal as a place to gather, learn, and experience the waterfront.
While initial concepts include a mix of hospitality, meeting space, office, and public-facing uses, the project remains in a preliminary phase. Significant planning, collaboration, and approvals will be required before any final development plan is established.
