Corner Lot Development has broken ground on The Lofts of Pequot Lakes, a new 82-unit multifamily community designed to help meet the growing demand for quality workforce housing in Pequot Lakes and the greater Brainerd Lakes area.
The approximately $16 million development will offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments on a 4.46-acre site within the Patriot Development, just west of Highway 371. Construction is scheduled to begin in September, with the community expected to open in fall 2027.
As Pequot Lakes continues to welcome new businesses and development, additional housing will play an important role in supporting the people who live and work throughout the region. The Lofts of Pequot Lakes builds upon Corner Lot’s investment in the area, following the successful development of Lofts on Novotny in nearby Baxter. Together, the two communities will add nearly 150 new residences to Crow Wing County.

The project is being developed in collaboration with the City of Pequot Lakes, the Brainerd Lakes Area Economic Development Corporation, the Crow Wing County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, INH Properties, and Miller Architects and Builders.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on August 26 with representatives from Corner Lot, the City of Pequot Lakes, and the project’s community partners.
The Lofts of Pequot Lakes reflects Corner Lot’s continued commitment to developing thoughtfully planned communities that respond to local housing needs and support long-term economic growth.
