The Corner on Main project will occupy a parcel between 1st Street and 2nd Street at an intersection widely considered to be the gateway to Springfield. The new development will surround a circa 1928 art deco structure that was originally home to Jacksonville’s first Chevrolet dealership. Once complete, the mixed-use urban development will include 201 market-rate studio, one bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments and more than 6,000 square feet of commercial space to accommodate retail or restaurant tenants. In addition, the project will include a fully-screened parking garage, a resort-style pool, a court yard, and multiple amenity spaces. The transited-oriented development is also located on Jacksonville’s much-anticipated Emerald Trail and in close proximity to Klutho Park.
