Corner Lot Welcomes Matt Devereaux as Managing Partner of Breeze Homes

Corner Lot and Breeze Homes proudly announce the appointment of Matt Devereaux as the Managing Partner of Breeze Homes. With a distinguished track record in the homebuilding industry, Devereaux brings valuable expertise and leadership to drive growth and market share in Northeast Florida.

Before joining Breeze Homes, Devereaux served as an accomplished leader at Lennar Homes, where he most recently held the title of Regional Vice President and served in various key roles over the past two decades. With a career spanning 22 years, Devereaux grew the Lennar Northeast Florida Division from 350 homes in 2014 to over 2,400 in 2022 while increasing market share from 5% to 20%.

“I am thrilled to join the dynamic team at Breeze Homes,” said Matt Devereaux. “I look forward to leveraging my experience and expertise to contribute to the company’s continued success and expansion.”

Devereaux has also served on the Board of Directors for the Northeast Florida Builders Association and said some of the work he is most proud of is building three homes for Wounded Warriors to live in mortgage-free.

Andy Allen, CEO of Corner Lot, expressed enthusiasm about Devereaux’s appointment, stating, “Matt’s extensive knowledge and proven leadership skills make him an awesome addition to our team. He’s the perfect partner to push Breeze to the next level.”

George Leone, COO of Corner Lot, echoed Allen’s sentiments, saying, “We are excited to welcome Matt aboard. His deep industry ties and innovative thinking will play a pivotal role in our ongoing efforts to provide exceptional service and value to our customers.”

As Managing Partner, Matt Devereaux will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Breeze Homes, driving operational excellence, and fostering growth opportunities.

Home building is in Devereaux’s blood. His grandfather was a master carpenter and his father started his own home-building company before relocating the family to Florida. Devereaux worked on jobs while learning the business before attending Florida SouthWestern State College and Florida State University. His first job in real estate was at U.S. Home Corp., which was bought by Lennar in 2001. Devereaux was named vice president of sales in Southwest Florida in 2004 before being promoted to Director of Operations the following year.

Devereaux moved to Jacksonville in 2014 when he was named Division President for Lennar. He was made Regional Director of Operations in 2022 before becoming Regional Vice President in January 2023.

Devereaux and his wife, Lauren, have four children, Max, Hailey, Lincoln and P.J.

“I consider Matt a close friend and having him as a partner makes our team very happy. I’m excited to see where Breeze is going with him at the helm. The sky really is the limit,” Allen added.
